The APN device features an automatic feeding system powered by a brushless motor and combined with a pneumatic tailstock designed to hold, lock and feed stepped, shaped or tapered components with round or oval sections.
Once the workpiece is securely clamped by the holding device, the automatic feed system allows it to slide smoothly toward the abrasive belts, where the polishing process is carried out with precision and consistency. In the case of long or thin components, an additional tailstock device integrated with a rear feed group can support the part and provide maximum stability during machining. This configuration ensures a polishing process free from vibrations, improving surface quality and operational reliability.
This special clamping and feeding system is equipped with a PLC and a touchscreen control panel that allows the operator to program and manage working cycles easily. The control system also provides the possibility to store multiple processing programs, making the machine suitable for repeated operations and different production requirements while maintaining high efficiency in industrial polishing applications.
