Actually the word grinding machine find its origin from a natural stone used in a specific mesh to produce abrasive belts and grinding stones or discs , that used to be originally called “grind”.
On the market there are several types of abrasives, natural or synthetic ones, available as abrasive belts, brushes or discs.
According to processing needs have been developed 3 different kind of pipe grinding machines:
Drum grinding machines with vertical abrasive belt or brush ( for flat surfaces, metal sheets, square and rectangular profiles )
Planetary grinding machines with abrasive belts ( for round and oval straight and bent pipes)
Centerless grinding machines with abrasive belt ( for round straight tubes and bars)
